The Business Mentality Five Minute Workplace Stress Check

This booklet, together with the support provided by the Business Mentality team, has been developed to help address the rising incidence of stress in the workplace and the subsequent negative effect this can have on personal wellbeing and company productivity.

According to research carried out by Business Mentality, managers of organisations from both the private and voluntary sectors agree that stress is a big issue and that help is needed. When asked what would best support them, they asked for resources that were easily accessible, fast and to the point. It was with this brief that the 5 minute Stress Check has been developed.

Based on responses to 10 key questions, managers are able to make a brief assessment of stress in their own workplace and recording the scores on the Business Mentality Stress Map then provides an instant visual representation of the associated strengths and weaknesses. Business Mentality can provide the additional support for businesses that wish to take these issues further.
