About Business Mentality

Business Mentality is a collaborative project between the London Development Centre and Open Mind Consultancy. It is funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) Opportunities Fund.

The two organisations have come together to deliver practical business focused services that aim to support small and medium sized organisations to manage stress in the workplace and to develop policies that will assist organisations to create and maintain a mentally healthy environment.

Business Mentailty has been set up specifically for smaller organisations, to help address the rising incidence of stress at work and the subsequent negative effect this can have on personal wellbeing and company productivity.

The Health and Safety Executive has made it clear that work-related stress is a health and safety issue, that employers have a duty of care to their staff and that stress risk assessments must be undertaken.

Recognising that smaller business often don't have sufficient time or capacity to undertake this, Business Mentality is offering a free service designed to enable owner managers to be in a better position to understand and manage the issues - and therefore to improve business performance.
